The company opened the working year with a three-day process safety management (PSM) course. More than twenty specialists from production, technology, equipment and safety took part, combining classroom study with case analysis.
Risk control
An external process safety specialist worked through twenty key PSM modules including enterprise risk management (ERM), mechanical integrity (MI) and management of change (MOC), using major incident case studies from China and abroad to reinforce full-participation, full-process, full-lifecycle safety management.
Learning by practice
The course combined theory with scenario simulation built around the company’s actual process flows. Participants worked in groups on HAZOP analysis, SIL assessment and LOPA, identifying hazards and setting graded control measures.
Digital tools
The course also covered the company’s digital PSM platform, which uses real-time monitoring, alerting and data analysis to make risk status visible and process safety control more precise.
A PSM audit and a skills competition will follow to consolidate the results of the training.
