Amine-terminated polyether is a key raw material for polyurea systems and wind-turbine blade manufacture. The company invested in developing and producing this product family to serve the new-material and new-energy industries.
The line started up at the end of 2010 with a capacity of 2,000 t/a, rising to 5,000 t/a by the end of 2011. It uses a continuous production process and supplies materials for wind power and protective coatings.
Five grades were available at the time, with further grades developed as the market required.
